This Privacy Policy explains how NutriAI ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, stores, retains and deletes your information when you use the NutriAI mobile app and website (nutriai.co.in). By using NutriAI, you agree to this policy.

Meal photos are not retained. Photos you submit are processed for food analysis and deleted immediately after processing. We do not keep meal photos after the analysis is complete.
We retain account information while your NutriAI account remains active.
Food logs, nutrition entries, and wellness information are retained while your account is active so that we can provide history, progress tracking, and personalized coaching.
Meal photos uploaded for analysis are deleted immediately after processing. We do not retain meal photos after the analysis is complete.
When you delete your account, we delete your account information and associated user content within 30 days, except for information we are legally required to retain (such as certain subscription or transaction records).
Some information stored in encrypted backups may remain temporarily and is removed during the normal backup-retention cycle, which is no longer than 30 days.
You can request deletion of your account and data at any time using the Delete Account option in the app (see the next section).
You are in control of your data. To delete your account and associated content:
Confirming this permanently removes your account and associated user content within 30 days, except for data we are legally required to keep. This action cannot be undone.
If you cannot access the app, you can also request deletion by emailing privacy@nutriai.co.in from your registered email address with the subject "Delete my account". We may verify your identity before processing the request.
We do not sell your personal or health data. We share limited data only with service providers who help operate the app, under appropriate confidentiality and security safeguards, including:

When you request an AI-powered meal or nutrition analysis, NutriAI may send the following information to Gemini AI (our AI processing provider) to generate the analysis you asked for:
The provider processes this information solely to generate the requested analysis. We do not send this information to the provider until you give permission in the app.
We delete this data according to the deletion process described in this policy — in particular, meal photos are deleted immediately after processing and are not retained.
You may withdraw permission for future AI analyses at any time within NutriAI. Withdrawing permission stops future requests to the provider; it does not affect analyses already completed.
You can access, export, correct or delete your data. To exercise these rights, use the in-app options or contact us at privacy@nutriai.co.in. Depending on your region, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.
NutriAI is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
