At NutriAI, your privacy is fundamental to how we build. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have over your information.

1. Information we collect

NutriAI is designed to keep your data on your device wherever possible. Depending on how you use the app, we may handle:

• Account information — if you create an account, your email and basic profile details.
• Health & nutrition data — meals, calories, macros, water intake, weight and goals you log. This is stored locally on your device by default.
• Usage data — anonymous, aggregated app usage to help us improve features.
• Device information — basic technical data needed to run and secure the app.

2. How we use your information

• To provide core tracking, analytics and AI coaching features.
• To sync and back up your data if you enable that option.
• To process subscriptions through the app store.
• To improve the app and fix issues.

3. How your data is stored & protected

Your nutrition data is stored locally with encryption, and protected by your PIN and optional biometric lock. We never sell your personal or health data to third parties.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We only share limited information with service providers who help operate the app (such as app stores for billing), under strict confidentiality.

5. Your rights

You can access, export or delete your data at any time. To request deletion, see our Security & Data page or email us.

6. Children

NutriAI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. We will note the date of the latest revision above.
